Movies that show the problems of a common man’s life are rarely made in the world of cinema these days. The movie ‘Hisab Barabar’, by its name, may seem like a story of settling accounts with someone, but in reality this movie is the story of a common man struggling with the system to settle his bank accounts.
Story of ‘Hisaab Barabar’
According to the story of the movie, Radhe Mohan Sharma (R Madhavan) works as a TTE in the railways. Radhe, who does his job with utmost honesty, also takes care of his son who studies in primary school. Many times, due to the responsibilities of his job, he has to take help from his neighbours for this work. Radhe, who faces all the challenges of life alone, is very good at accounting. Due to this habit of his, he had refused to marry a girl in his youth, because she was not as strong as him in accounting.
One day, while checking his bank passbook, Radhe finds out that there is a reduction of Rs 27.50 in his account. When he goes to the bank and makes a written complaint, the employees there turn him away. But when he makes a lot of noise, they not only return his money, but also give him an expensive gift. When he goes deeper into the matter, he finds out that in this way, the bank people are committing a scam of crores of rupees by reducing small amounts from the accounts of lakhs of customers. When Radhe raises his voice against this, the entire system comes after him to suppress his voice.
‘Hisaab Barabar‘ Movie Review
The film’s director Ashwini Dheer has made a light-hearted film on a very important issue, which is faced by many common people in their daily lives. But unfortunately, due to the weak story and screenplay, he has failed to connect this film directly with the audience. The film does not arouse your interest from the beginning, while its second half and climax are also not that strong.
However, R Madhavan tries his best to pull this weak film with his strong acting. But still this film does not create the curiosity or fear in the audience, as it should have. Ashwini was also not able to use Kirti Kulhari’s character properly in this film, which seems incomplete. Why did Neil Nitin Mukesh do this film, only he can tell better.
Some part of the film has been shot at Ghaziabad railway station, which the residents of that place will recognize. The camera work of the film is fine, but the music is passable. Talking about the acting of the actors, Madhavan has done a good job, but the characters of Kirti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh do not suit.
Why watch – If you want to pass time sitting at home on the weekend, then only take the trouble of watching this film. Otherwise do not expect too much from this film.
