The Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’, released in 2021, was well-liked. Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Mrs’, released directly on OTT this week, is its official remake. Earlier, this film has also been remade in Tamil cinema. Director Aarti Kadav’s ‘Mrs’ has been appreciated in many international film festivals before its release in India. Story of ‘Mrs movie’
‘Mrs movie’ is the story of a girl Richa (Sanya Malhotra) who marries Diwakar (Nishant Dahiya) with a lot of dreams. But as soon as she becomes Mrs from Miss, she encounters a different world. Diwakar, a doctor by profession, has his parents at home. Diwakar is very busy due to his long duty shifts. He spends the rest of his time playing with friends to recharge himself, while Richa gets busy with her mother-in-law in handling the responsibility of the kitchen. Her father-in-law is a bit old fashioned, who does not like eating outside food at all.
Meanwhile, suddenly one day Richa’s mother-in-law has to go out for some time. Due to this, all the responsibility of the house falls on the new daughter-in-law. With this begins her series of struggles. How does Richa, a new age progressive thinking girl, manage the responsibilities of the house and kitchen? To know this

‘Mrs.’ Movie Review
Director Aarti Kadav has made a beautiful film on a very important subject of Indian society. While remaking the original film, she has made some changes in the script keeping in mind the cultural changes. Despite this, she did not let the nearly two hours long film weaken from anywhere.
The story of the film connects you from the beginning and then takes you with it till the end. On the strength of the film’s strong story and screenplay, Aarti makes you aware of the social challenges till the end and then gives a message to men along with women through a strong climax.
The music of the film is fine, while the camera work is good. If we talk about the actors, Sanya, who has already won the Best Actress award for this film, has done a wonderful job as always. Sanya, who is about to complete a decade in her acting career, has done another challenging role in this film very well.
Kanwaljit Singh is also good in the role of a typical father-in-law. The rest of the actors including Nishant Dahiya have also looked decent in their roles.
