Vivek Verma said in the conversation that he had prepared many types of samples for this song which he was going to show to Himesh Reshammiya. While preparing the theme, there were many times when he did not get the theme song right. After preparing many samples, when it was his turn to play it to the singer, the singer did not like it very much. Then suddenly she went to the project kept in the studio which Vivek Verma himself had sidelined after preparing it due to the tune not working.
When Himesh asked him to play it, Vivek told him that this is not the piece that I can take forward for the film. But the singer had full faith in him and when the sample was played, it was decided that Inder would impress his Saru with this theme. Apart from Sanam Teri Kasam, Vivek has also worked in the songs filmed in Salman Khan’s film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
