1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Launch date: mid-March 2025
Estimated price: Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom
Maruti introduced its first all-electric SUV e Vitara at Auto Expo 2025. Although Maruti has not announced its official launch date, it is likely to be launched in the middle of March. Some dealerships have already started taking its bookings. The e Vitara is going to come with two battery pack options (49 kWh and 61 kWh), which claims to give a range of more than 500 km.
2. Tata Harrier EV
• Launch date: 31 March 2025
Expected price: Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom)
-At Auto Expo 2025, Tata showcased the production-spec model of its Harrier EV, which is expected to be launched in India by the end of March. It is going to be equipped with many great features. Tata has confirmed that the Harrier EV will also have dual electric motors and an all-wheel drive system, which will produce 500 Nm of torque.
3. MG Cyberster
. Launch date: 2nd week of March 2025
Expected price: Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom)
MG introduced its first electric convertible Cyberster at the Auto Expo 2025. The car set a record by sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds at the Sambhar Salt Lake. The Cyberster is powered by a 77 kWh battery pack mated to dual electric motors that produce 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of torque. MG will launch it through its ‘Select’ dealerships.
4. 2025 Kia EV6
• Launch date: Mid-March 2025
Expected price: Rs 63 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kia is expected to launch the facelifted version of the EV6 in the first week of March. It features new design updates such as revised LED headlights and alloy wheels. Its interior features a two-spoke steering wheel and an updated center console. The 2025 EV6 is equipped with an 84 kWh battery pack, which claims to give a range of over 650 km. Apart from this, features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) have also been provided in it.
5. Volvo XC90 Facelift
• Launch date: March 4, 2025
• Expected price: Rs 1.05 crore (Ex-showroom)
• Volvo recently confirmed that it will launch the XC90 facelift on March 4, 2025. It has received mild cosmetic updates, such as a new bumper, slimmer LED headlights and taillights, and new alloy wheels. The interior has also been changed, with features such as an 11.2-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver display, four-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The Volvo XC90 Facelift is expected to feature the same mild-hybrid petrol engine, but a plug-in hybrid option could also be offered.
